With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Carl Preece Jr. of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, born in Austin, Texas, who passed away on September 15, 2021 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Richard Carl Preece; and his brother David Preece. He is survived by: his mother Della Mae Arnold Preece of Pflugerville; his wife Audrey Skeen Preece; his children, Richard Thomas Preece of Prestonsburg and Patricia Preece (Samuel Fox) of Prestonsburg; his siblings, Michael Beard of Georgetown, Byron Temple (Darla) of Whiteland, Douglas Preece of Pflugerville and Carline Schreiber of Georgetown; and his grandchildren, Reilly Ryan, Addison Fox and Mason Fox.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to an education fund which is being set-up for his grandchildren.
