She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne McCarty and Daisy McCarty (Harris); her husband David Preston; and her siblings, Ronnie McCarty, Wallace McCarty, Christine Bailey and Faye Moscript.
She is survived by: her siblings, James "Douglas" McCarty (Peggy), Jerome McCarty (Judy), Imogene Cooley and Phyllis Waddles.
