He is survived by: his children, Johnathon Michael Ellis (Keisha) of Morehead, KY, Rachel Angelica Ellis of Prestonsburg, KY and Lisa Evans (Troy) of Cleveland, GA; his siblings, Michael Ellis (Tammy Hamm) and Lisa Ellis; his grandchildren, Zachary, Timothy, Dylan, Destiny, Kassidy, Cassandra, Braden, Christian, Joseph and Sabrina; and his great grandchildren, Rosalie, Thalia and Ember.
