John Roger Dotson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2025, at the age of 73, John Roger Dotson (Martin, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Dotson and Pauline Barnes Dotson of Prestonsburg, KY.; his wife Lisa Melbourne Dotson; and his sister Nadine Dotson Vance. He is survived by: his children, Leann George (Ted) of Prestonsburg, KY and Kevin Dotson (Melinda) of Prestonsburg, KY; his sisters, Darlene Honeycutt (Paul) of Prestonsburg, KY and Tamera Miller (Craig) of Lexington, KY; and his grandchildren, Lucas George, Emma Stanley (Paul), Mason Holbrook (Monica), Austin Holbrook (Alondra), Jonathan Dotson and Connor Dotson. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hall Funeral Home (331 KY-122, Martin, KY 41649). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at the Dotson Cemetery (359 Dotson Branch Rd, Salyersville, KY 41465).
