He was predeceased by: his parents, Ballard Thompson and Josephine Adkins Thompson; and his siblings, Burbon, Delmar, James Bronford Thompson, Katherine Adkins, Maggie Turner and Bernice Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his children, Earl David Thompson (Kristine) of Cincinnati, OH and Kelli Jo Hunt (Tony) of Georgetown, KY; and his grandchildren, Bradley Samuel Poppell and Harper Ryan Hunt.
