She was predeceased by: her father Roy Lee Mullins; her husband Samuel Lakin; and her sisters, Reva Rose, Georgia Hawkins and Dee Mullins.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy B. Rowe of Breaks, VA, Larry K. Hawkins of Clintwood, VA, David B. Hawkins of Elkhorn City, KY and Terri Horne of Elkhorn City, KY; and her brother Roy Lee Mullins, Jr. of Boulder, CO.. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
