He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelus Allen and Hallie Woods Allen. He is survived by: his wife Janice Blackburn Allen; his children, Patrick Allen of Los Angles, California and Renee Allen Dauer (Brett) of Hendersonville, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Katelyn Dauer of Laguna Niguel and Haley McCoy of Hendersonville, Tennessee..
In remembrance of Denzil Allen's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the East Kentucky Science Center & Planetarium in Prestonsburg or the Sizerock Baptist Church in Sizerock, Kentucky.
