He was predeceased by: his parents, Jobe Blackburn and Trixie Cains Blackburn; his wife Rosalie Whitt Blackburn; and his siblings, John Blackburn, Mae Hickman, Margie Jude, Bertha Duncan and Eunice Robinson.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven Blackburn (Rachel Shane) and Jeffery Blackburn (Jeremy Salyers); and his sister Thelma Moore.
