It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Williams Shepherd of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Williams and Wilma Hicks Williams; her husband Virgil Preston Shepherd; her daughter Christy Collins; her siblings, Von Williams, Lowell Gary Williams, Walker Williams and Juilet Williams; and her grandson Scott Shepherd.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Shepherd (Kari) of Prestonsburg, Alan Shepherd (Jodi) of Salyersville and Marsha Litteral of Salyersville; her grandchildren, Joshua Adams, Taylor Litteral, Alex Shepherd, Brooklyn Shepherd and Breanna Litteral; her great grandchildren, Nelliel Adams and Decim Adams; and her sons-in-law, Ken Litteral and Greg Adams.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel (900 Parkway Dr, Salyersville, KY 41465).
