With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bessie G Jenkins of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 27, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Scott and Dorothy Dye Scott; her husband Charles Edward Jenkins; her grandchildren, Christopher Dye and Tiana Ann Marie Estep; and her siblings, Glen Scott, Jack Scott, Julius Scott, Junior Scott, Leo Scott and Edna Mae Hale.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Estep (Ella) of Frankfort, Kentucky, Tammy Estep (Ray Hunter) of Prestonsburg, Kentucky and Jackie Hall (Chris Porter) of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Zachary, Zane, Lonnie, Marissa, Gordon, David and Breezy; her great grandchildren, Christopher, Elaina, Dakota, Laurie, Freya and Leon; and her siblings, James Scott (Mary) of Martin, Patricia Martin (Eddie Keith) of McDowell and Linda Sammons (David) of Martin, Kentucky..
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 6:00 PM and on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home - Martin (7 Clinic Dr, Martin, KY 41649). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
