She was predeceased by: her parents, Strother Holmes and Inez Morehead Holmes; her husband Eddie Brooks Jr.; her children, Timothy Wayne Brooks and Robin Faye Brooks Stanley; and her brother Gene Holmes.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Brooks (Glenda) of Powderly and Farron Brooks (Lisa) of Powderly; and her grandchildren, Mike Brooks, Wes Brooks (Jaclyn), Mamie Clemons (Jamie), Kyle "Rowdy" Chelsey, Kalem Brooks (Whitney) and Cortney Penrod (Casey). She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter.
