He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Rice and Hazel Rice; his siblings, John Thomas, Clarence "Junior", Lois Tate, Wilma Elschide and Joyce Hancock; his wife Rebecca Sue Rice; and his son Keith Wayne Rice.
He is survived by: his siblings, Charlotte Noffsinger and Phillip Rice; his daughter-in-law F. Carol Rice; his children, Kevin Rice (Terri) and Stacie Stewart (John); and his grandchildren, Amy Brewer (Chad), LeAnn Ford (Michael), Ryan Rice (Summer), Kolton Rice, Ciara Cobb, Jordan Cobb and Josie Rice. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
