He is survived by: his wife Kay Daniel of Poole, KY; his children, Johnny Ray Daniel (Layna) and Nichole Daniel of Poole, KY; his siblings, Tommy Daniel, Richard, Chris Daniel of Robards, KY, Jeff Daniel of Poole, KY and Sarah Zieman of Henderson, KY; his grandchildren, Gage, Logan, Buddy Mack, Zander and Scarlet Raye; and his nephew Thomas Zieman.
