Though William D. may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his brother Larry Harold Smith. He is survived by: his wife Carol "Joyce" Smith (Harper); his children, Terry B. Smith (Brenda) and Carrie M. Smith (Bill Jordan) of Henry County; his sister Tammy Smithson (Steve) of Eminence, KY; and his grandchildren, Kristy Yates (Zak), Tara Woods (David), Bill Smith (Whitney), Travis Glass and Chelsey Howell. He is also survived by grandkids and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sholar-Riley Funeral Home (5710 Castle Hwy, Pleasureville, KY 40057). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at the Franklinton Baptist Church (7681 Point Pleasant Rd, Pleasureville, KY 40057).
