He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Gayle McAlister and Ruby Wainscott McAlister; and his brother James McAlister. He is survived by: his wife Dina McAlister of Pleasureville; his sons, Chris McAlister of Pleasureville, Brian Gayle McAlister of Pleasureville, Kevin Warren McAlister (Kelly) of Shelbyville and Cody Alexander McGowan (Mary) of Richmond; his siblings, Danny McAlister (Janet) of Eminence and Patsy Van of Bagdad; and his grandson Brayden McAlister of Taylorsville.
