She was predeceased by: her parents, James Russell O'Connell and Mary Catherine O'Neil O'Connell; her husband Floyd Hughes; her daughter Martha Hughes Gordon; and her siblings, Dorothy Chwalek, Jim O'Connell, Betty Barnes, Pat O'Connell, Gerald O'Connell and George O'Connell.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Jo Wasko (Don) of Georgetown, IN and Paul Hughes (Kelly) of Shelbyville, KY; her siblings, Margaret Dailey of Carrollton, Eileen Riley of South Bend, IN and Joe O'Connell of Frankfort; and her grandchildren, Tim Gordon, Julie Gordon of Frankfort, Michelle Donley of Eminence, Colin Hughes, Colleen Hughes of Shelbyville, Kevin Wasko (Nancy) of Louisville and Fourteen. She is also survived by Fourteen great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
