He is survived by: his daughter Benita Carol Schiess of Louisville; his siblings, Terry Godbey of Carrollton, Darlena Austin of Edinburgh and Joyce Rose of Carrollton; and his grandsons, Richard Godbey of Louisville and Charles Schiess of Campbellsville. He is also survived by three great-great grandchildren.
