He is survived by: his children, Mike Banta (Susie) of Bagdad, Gary Banta (Vickie) of Pendleton, Scott Banta of La Grange, Judy Fallis of Shelbyville, Phyllis Jamison of Eminence and Sheila Lyons (Todd) of Eminence; his siblings, Lewis Wayne Banta (Fran) of Belmond, Robert Lee Banta (Patricia Ann) of Cropper, Shirley Haydon (Donnie) of Shelbyville and Virginia Sloan (Roy) of Finchville; and his friend Margie Wainscott. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 9 great great-grandchildren.
