He was predeceased by: his parents, Huston Ethington and Naomi Ethington (Chisholm); his son Kevin Ethington; and his siblings, Elizabeth Hunt, Mary Sue Ethington, Hubert Logan Ethington, Jimmy Ethington and Oscar David Ethington.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Ethington (Smith); his stepson Todd Raisor of Campbellsburg, KY; and his siblings, Teressa McKee (Dave) of Frankfort, KY, Patsy Brewer of Defoe, KY, Beverly Creasey of Shelbyville, KY, Roselyn Ethington of Shelbyville, KY. and Wayne Ethington of Defoe, KY.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sholar-Riley Funeral Home (5710 Castle Hwy, Pleasureville, KY 40057). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Defoe Cemetery (881 Cedarmore Rd, Defoe, KY 40057).
