He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ruric Rainwater and Audrey Adkins Rainwater; his children, Phillip Kent Rainwater (Amie) of Paris, KY, Kacy JoAnne Holmes of Pleasureville, KY and Kimberly Faye Moore (Todd) of Pleaureville, KY; his siblings, Donald Rainwater (Wilma) of Chiefland, FL, Patricia Ann Rainwater of Wichita Falls, TX and Josephine Kazouris of Tarpon Springs, FL; his wife Patricia Gayle Chisholm Rainwater; his son David Andrew Rainwater, Jr.; and his sister Carmilita Adkins. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
