He is survived by: his mother Betty Ann "McCarty" Burns; his children, Lyndsay Burns, Stephen Burns (Kristina) and Jermey Burns (Mindy); his siblings, Dennis Burns (Cindy) and Datha Jean Whitely (Mitch); and his grandchildren, Quentin Burns, Jocelyn Burns and Ella Mae Burns.
