She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Tennyson and Elsie Mills Tennyson; her husband Curtis D Hunter; her daughter Penny Denise Hunter; and her siblings, Brenda Meridith, Joyce Miller, James Tennyson and Charles Tennyson.
She is survived by: her children, Curtis David Hunter and Melanie Gay Hunter; her siblings, Lois Hunter, Linda Walters and Greg Tennyson (Maria); her siblings-in-law, Joseph Miller, Cathy Fuson (Ray), Katy Hinkle (Gary) and Roger Hunter (Tammy); and her grandchildren, Ryan Hunter, Chris Hunter (Ashley), Holly Baer (Eric), Melinda Jones (John), Joshua Mason, Ashley Mason (Anthony), Stephen Hunter (Erica) and Molly Ledford (Harve). She is also survived by great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fuson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
