It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcellus Woods Jr. of Pineville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 13, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcellus Woods, Sr. and Hazel Wilson Woods of Pineville; his daughter April Michelle; and his parents-in-law, Bob and Virginia Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Brown Woods of Pineville; his daughter Beverly Gilpin; his son-in-law David; his grandchildren, Cody Saylor (Dakota), Madison Saylor and Blake Saylor (Morgan Fugate); his great grandchildren, Harrison Marcellus Short, Leslie Mariah Saylor, Thomas Elliott Saylor, Benjamin Blake Saylor, Blayze Napier and Axel Napier; his brothers, John Woods (Liz) and Ralph Woods (late Jane Woods); and his close friend Leon Miracle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to Covid, a private viewing for the immediate family will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022.
