She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon Asher and Helen Brock Asher; and her significant others, Carl Carnes and John Alford. She is survived by: her daughters, Helena Woods (Gary) and Elizabeth Gilley (Ron); her grandchildren, Reagan Gilley (Whitney), Victoria Slusher (Robby), Katherine Woods (MJ) and Sarah Woods; her great grandchildren, Adalyn and Levi Slusher; and her siblings, Eldon Asher Jr. (Margie), Jeanie Stewart (Lee), Tommy Asher (Kithy), Irene Goodin, Amelia Asher (Midge) and Norma Saylor. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many special friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the UK Sanders-Brown Center on Aging (SBCoA) where Lois received care. Donations may be made at: https://medicine.uky.edu & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville is honored to serve the Alford Family.
