She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward J. Johnson and Mossie Asher Johnson Simpson; her stepfather Rev. James Simpson, Sr.; her siblings, Charlie Johnson, Cassie Grubbs, Viola Price and James Simpson, Jr.; and her brother-in-law Hobert Hoskins.
She is survived by: her siblings, Joe Simpson (Imogene), Johnny Simpson (Roberta Croley) and Hazel Hoskins; and her niece Jamie Reese. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
