He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Elijah Sewell Smith and Avis Lee Smith. He is survived by: his wife Modean Partin Smith; his children, Kevin Reece Smith and Denice Knuckles (Harvey Frazier); his grandchildren, April Hurley (Clint), Paul Knuckles, Justin Knuckles (Nicolette), Nicholas Smith and Avree Smith; and his great grandchildren, Jakeb Hurley, Dylan Hurley, Peyton Knuckles and Harper Hurley. He is also survived by cousins and other family members.
