He was predeceased by: his parents, Ula Bay and Martha Ann Hensley Rutherford; and his siblings, Hugh, Ernest, Kenneth, Bobby, Clarence, Charles Rutherford, Magdalene Shepherd, Sara Rutherford and Helen Greene.
He is survived by: his children, Curtis Rutherford (Tosha), Kelly Rutherford (Michelle), Stuart Rutherford and Martha Williams (Mitchell); his grandchildren, Sierra, Meradith, Aaron, Marcus, Andrew, Chase, Blake and Cameron; his great grandchildren, Gavin, Felix and Taylee; and his sisters, Lorene Bingham and Elsie Smith (Cecil). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
