He was predeceased by: his parents, George Potter and Myrtle Collins Lamparski; his sisters, Delta Jeanne Hay and Maxine Williams; his brothers-in-law, Theodore "Teddy" Bennett, Ellis "Bud" Hay and Harold Williams; and also George Edwin Potter.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Joyce Frasure Potter; his children, Michael Potter (Tammy), Douglas Potter (Kara), Keith Potter (Robin), Michele Bentley (Rodney) and Jennifer Gamble; his sister Vesta Marlene Bennett; his grandchildren, Jason Potter, Crystal Potter, Tashania Bosley, Amanda Brown (Tom), Stephanie Duzan (Tim), NeKole Boutin (Aaron), Evan Potter, Tyler Kilburn (Sydney), Logan Potter (Olivia), Franklin Combs, Matthew Potter, Hunter Potter, Wyatt Potter, Shade Combs, Maddison Potter, MaKynzie Potter and Colten Potter; his sisters-in-law, Lynn Bodey (Steve) and Barbara Morrell (Harry); and also, Christie Potter Adams, Amanda Johnson Hammock, Lantre Combs and Mark Kilburn. He is also survived by 10 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hindman Funeral Services (619 Hindman Bypass, Hindman, KY 41822). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
