He was predeceased by: his father John Walter Miller; his grandparents, John "Sid" Sydney, Alta Mae Waters, Lola Miller and Bransford Winchester; his brothers, Robert "Moe" Stephens, Eddie Joe Stephens and Jamie Grundy; his aunts and uncles, Ella Mae Hill, Shirley Miller Bryant, Patricia Miller McDonald, Kenneth, Chester and Paul Waters; his cousin Connie Hill James; and his niece Vanessa Daugherty.
He is survived by: his mother Janice Pauline Waters; his sons, Elijah Miller (Amber) of Gainsville, Walter Zac Miller of Monticello and Silas Miller (Mara) of Science Hill, Kentucky; his siblings, Gary Waters (Linda) of Muncie, Indiana, Lisa Strunk of Pine Knot and Sharon Privett (Bub) of Pine Knot; his grandchildren, Hayden, Allison, Noah, Carmen and Avery Wayne Miller; his aunts, Fayrene Hill, Shirley Frye, Mary Lou Gibson and Sandy Hamlin; and his close friends, Gary Bell, Tim Polley, King of Patrick James, Fitzpatrick, Dave Sadler, Eric Morales, Steven, Allen Laupert, David Meadows, Steve Meadows, Joe Crabtree, Robbie Hardwick, Delmer Neal, Denzil Cooper and Carlos Baird.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with the remaining funeral expenses.
