She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Ernest McCarter and Josie Melvinia McCarter (Ramsey); her husband Eli Burl Wilson; her son Richard "Rick" Neal; and her siblings, Leo, Earl, Issac, Mack, James, Bruce, Hollis McCarter, Rintha Brown, Cassie Greene and Alma Roulette.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Aaron Neal and Alicia Neal; her great grandchild Holly Neal; and her stepsons, Tim Wilson, Jim Wilson and Tom Wilson. She is also survived by children; and a host of extended family and friends.
