It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vanessa Pauline Daugherty of Pine Knot, Kentucky, born in Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on January 27, 2022, at the age of 41, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandfather Robert I. Stephens; and her uncles, Robert Lee Stephens, Eddie Jo Stephens and Jamie D. Grundy. She is survived by: her parents, Donald A. King of Georgia and Lisa Stephens Strunk of Pine Knot; her daughters, Destiney Penney (Dillan) of Monticello and Desiree Rose (Christopher) of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; her close friend Jerry Strunk of Pine Knot; her grandmother Janice Waters Grundy of Pine Knot; her grandchildren, Brayden, Brinsley, Liam and Brexlyn; her siblings, Gerald Wayne Strunk of Pine Knot and Sally Strunk of Pine Knot; her aunt Sharon Privett (Clellie "Bub"); her niece Courtney; and her nephew Cody Bryant. She is also survived by her family dearly, especially her daughters and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Funeral Home to assist with remaining funeral expense.
