He was predeceased by: his parents, Pat Sharpton and May Sharpton (East); his siblings, Jerry, Thomas Sharpton and Edna Ruth Jason; his stepgranddaughters, Elizabeth King and Brandy Nichole King; and his daughter-in-law Margie King.
He is survived by: his wife Fayrene Sharpton (Kidd); and his siblings, Wayne Sharpton (Pam) of Alburn, Gene Sharpton of Pikeville and Shirley Cook of Alburn, Georgia.. He is also survived by married, September 18, 2012; step-children.
