He is survived by: his wife Betty Lawson of Pine Knot; his children, Christy Midden (Jeff) of Houston and Barry Singleton (Tanya) of Parkers Lake; his sister Janie Stanley of Knoxville; his nephew David Gover of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Brandon Singleton and Holly Singleton; and his great grandchild Kardyn Staley.
