He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Bryant and Flonnie Bryant (Sellers); his stepdaughter April Slavey; and his siblings, Gary Bryant and Mary Ellen Bryant Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Fay Bryant (Foster); his stepson Shane Slavey (Kendra) of Stearns; his siblings, Charles Bryant of Pine Knot, Claude Bryant (Ruby) of Whitley City, Jeff Bryant of Pine Knot, Lena Phillips of Gainsboro, Linda Bryant of Pine Knot, Joan Anderson (Jerry) of Parkers Lake and Kay Tibbs (Chuck) of Shreve, Ohio.; his grandson Dustin Shrock (Brianna); his son Jon Calvin Smith (Dawanna); his close friend Dennis Privett; and his cousin Carolyn Watters. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
