He was predeceased by: his father Thomas "TJ" King. He is survived by: his wife Brenda King (Sexton) of Pine Knot, Kentucky; his mother Fayrene Sharpton (Kidd) of Pine Knot, Kentucky; his son Josh King (Sami Jo) of Whitley City, Kentucky; his siblings, Wayne King of Pine Knot, Dwight King (Billy) of Pine Knot, Richard King (Daphne) of Whitley City, Kentucky and Abby Stephens of Pine Knot, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Hunter, Gracie, Charli and Chantay. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the funeral home to help with the remaining burial expense.
