He is survived by: his parent Laura Cecil Carson; his wife Martha Carson; his children, Johnny Carson of Pine Knot, KY, Ricky Carson (Dawn) of Somerset, KY and Pam Upchurch (Terry) of Somerset, KY; his daughter-in-law Kathy Carson; his grandchildren, Kendra, Derrick, Teri Lynn, Ricky Douglas, Shawn, Kierstan, Brandon, Amanda, Nathaniel and Jordan; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Austin, Brooklyn, Lexie, Cambria, Railey, Kendyl, Kennedy, Ella and Abram; and his siblings, Jimmy Carson (Jeanie), Freddy Carson (Carol), Gereda Phillips, Phyllis Griffith (Doug) and Patricia Hill (Bobby). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews; special friends since 1962 George and Shirley Edmonds; and many other family members and friends.
