Perkins of Pine Knot, Kentucky, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on March 14, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John Perkins, Sr.; his wife Ann Perkins; his daughter Edna Harris; and his siblings, Nathan, David, Charles, Danny Perkins, Faye Jones, Frieda Perkins, Grace Smith and Welma Massingale.
He is survived by: his children, Mikel Perkins of Richmond, KY, David of Pine Knot, KY, Johnny of Pine Knot, KY, Robert of Pine Knot, KY, Michael Perkins of Pine Knot, KY, Teresa Couch of Harlan and Dana Perkins of Oneida, TN; and his siblings, Linville Perkins of South Carolina, Marvin Perkins of Pine Knott, KY and Debbie Perkins of Harlan. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
