It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Ruth Ball of Pine Knot, Kentucky, who passed away on November 5, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Porter Stephens and Maudie Stephens (Gilreath); her husband James Dillard Ball; her children, Roger Kyle Ball (Nona), Wilma Neal and Patricia Diane Stephens (Larry); and her siblings, Ray Merrell Stephens, Edna Vanover, Pernie Ross, Shirley Hicks, Joyce Napier and Lois Dunnigan.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Sherri Lynn King (Luke), Darren Ball (Debbie), Chrissy Chitwood (Johnathon), Eric Morrow (Tammy), Jennifer Kidd (Chad) and James Stephens (Becky); and her great grandchildren, Taylor Morrow (Tanner), Dillian Morrow, Kemen Brown (Brittany), Colby King (Sarah), Caitlyn Phillips (Thomas), Chaslin Cordell (Vince), Charity Clark (Gary), Chad Lee Kidd, Christin Kidd, Chelsea Stephens, Lauren Stephens, Kyle Ball (Megan), Kelsie Ball (Kyle), Andrew King (Chelsea) and Eric King. She is also survived by several great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
