He was predeceased by: his parent Coyett Vanover; and his sisters, Barbara Moore and Lori Vanover. He is survived by: his mother Alice Ravina Vanover (Fickey); his children, Gary Vanover II (Amanda) and Amanda Rutherford; his stepdaughters, Chayann Vanover and Kala Vanover; his siblings, Wayne Vanover (Shelley), Larry Vanover (Debbie), Pamela Dickenson (Gary Lee) and Michelle Coffey; his close friend Leon Hatfield; and his nephew Timmy Moore. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
