He was predeceased by: his brother Nickie Jones; and his granddaughter Faith. He is survived by: his parents, Viola Mae Smith (Jones) of Somerset, Kentucky and Bruce Ivan Smith of Marion, Indiana; his son Bruce Jones (Amanda) of Somerset, Kentucky; his close friend Anna Smart of Pine Knot, Kentucky; his siblings, Ricky Jones of Arizona and Kimberly West of Monticello, Kentucky; his stepchildren, Josh Smart (Breanna) and Maria Smart; and his grandchildren, Bruce Jr., Kiannah, Katrina, Alberto, Luis, Calvin, Abigail, Remi, Haven, Amera and Henson. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McCreary County Funeral Home (48 State Hwy 700, Whitley City, KY 42653). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
