She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Ray Ball and Zelma Elizabeth Ball (Flynn); her daughter-in-law Jennifer; and her brothers, Larry Ball and Ronnie Ball.
She is survived by: her husband William Ray Hughes; her sons, Clarence Hughes (Derica), Brian Hughes, Oscar Hughes and Jeffrey Hughes (Becca West); her grandchildren, Maddilynn, Jeffrey Jr., Freya, Mercigh, Iris, Kayleb Ray, Garren, Kenzlynn, Grant, Karson and Tara; her siblings, C. J. Ball, Chris Ball (Sheila), Carol Blakely, Elsie Dick, Wencie Trammell and Vivian Humfrey; and her close friends, Kathy Grundy Hollon, Myrtle Strunk and Linda Laxton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pine Knot Funeral Home (140 Cal Hill Spur, Pine Knot, KY 42635). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
