He is survived by: his wife Edith Ann Cox (Kidd); his stepchildren, Timothy Cox (Tonya) of Pine Knot, William Cox (Christina) of Whitley City and Patricia Slaven (Paul) of Whitley City; his siblings, Johnny Cox (Rita) of Strunk, Virgil Cox (Paulette) of Somerset, Marie Hale (Roy) of Whitley City, Phyllis Myers of Strunk, Betty Stephens (Loyd) of Helenwood and Barbara Meadows (Bob) of Strunk; his grandchildren, Amber Cox, Trenton Cox, Calob Cox, Makenzi Cox, Elton Stephens, Calvin Corrigal and Hunter Bryant; and his great grandchild Kinley Bryant.
