It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Dixon of Pine Knot, Kentucky, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Slaven and Dora Slaven (King). She is survived by: her siblings, Lenville Slaven, Vella Agnes Slaven, Arlene Chitwood, Lorene Slaven, Thela Louise Slaven, Martha King, Flora Tabitha Slaven, Wanda Joyce Thompson and Edna Bernice Daugherty; her son-in-law Frank Buell; her children, Anthony Slaven (Sheila) of Strunk, Deborah Buell of Loyall, Wendell Steve Dixon (Tammy) of Pine Knot, Bill Dixon (Theresa) of Pine Knot and Shannon Dixon of Pine Knot; and her sister-in-law Barbara Slaven of Louisville. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
