He was predeceased by: his parents, Lige Jude and Matilda Jude; his former wife Eva Dials Sartin; his wife Rhoda Newsome Sartin; his son Johnny Sartin; and his siblings, Lloyd, Hayes, Ellis, Willis, Johnny, Elijah, Calvin, Walter, Robert, Laudie, Margie, Betty, Myrtle and Lona.
He is survived by: his children, Wallace Sartin, Jr. (Ruth) of Pilgrim, KY, Linda Carol Lowe of Pilgrim, KY and Matilda Howard of Canada, KY; and his sister Margaret Simpkins of Sunbury, OH.. He is also survived by great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
