It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Luther Scott of Pilgrim, Kentucky, who passed away on July 6, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Axton Scott and June Meade Scott; his wife Vadie Howell Scott; his siblings, Wayne Scott, Rass Scott, Jeff Scott, Tee Scott, Leonard Scott, Ben Scott, Willard Scott, Isabelle Lyons and Mary Collins; and his grandson Benjamin Grady Scott.
He is survived by: his sons, James Curtis Scott (Kara) of Inez, KY and Dennis Scott (Patricia Miracle) of Pilgrim, KY; his brother Paul Dean Scott of Paintsville, KY.; his grandchildren, Alison Scott, Hannah Stacy (Cory), Ryan Smith (Brooke), Brady Smith (Ashley Ward) and Kaleb Smith; and his great grandchild BrenLynn Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
