He was predeceased by: his parents, John Goble and Pearl Goble; his stepmother Rita Goble (Lorriane "Bill" Goble); his children, Worth Goble II and Cathy Goble Gullett; his former wife Garnett Gay Goble; his siblings, Russell Goble, Janis Taylor, Margie Wells, Gladys Price and Betty Caudill; and his stepson-in-law Ben Cox.
He is survived by: his children, Connie, Harold Dean Meek, Chris, Malchom Ratliff and Nelson Gullett of Paintsville, KY; his grandchildren, Nelson Worth Gullett (Betsy), Nick Ratliff and Crystal Meek; his great grandchildren, Jaxson Ratliff (Taylor), Meghan Ratliff, William Titlow, Catherine Gullett, Carson Ratliff and Caleb Gullett; his stepdaughter Paulinda Cox; his stepgrandchildren, Leslie Jones (Derek) and Aaron Cox (Gera); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Lucielle, Silas, Hadley, Cecilia, Josephine and Douglas Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, friends, fishing buddies, and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel (807 S Mayo Trail, Paintsville, KY 41240). A burial was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at the Highland Memorial Park (551 Kentucky Rte 2275, Staffordsville, KY 41256).
