He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ireland Meade and Bertha Compton Meade; his wife Joyce Farmer Meade; his brother James A. Meade; and his granddaughter Aubree M. Meade.
He is survived by: his children, Adam Meade (Ashley), Jamie J. Jude (Thomas) and Kristina Hisle; the mother of his children Mae Meade; his siblings, William Gary (Billie) and Sherry Gillespie Rogers (Jerry); his stepsons, Brandon Farmer (Kelly) and Michael Harris (Heather); his grandchildren, Addison Meade, Tyra Spears, Austin Spears (Becca), Kylie Farmer, Brantley Farmer and Ryley Harris; his great grandchild Kade Spears; and his close friends, Florence Abshire, Fanny and Danny Lawson. He is also survived by fur babies, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Owsley Church of God (3702 Hurricane Rd, Pikeville, KY 41501).
