She is survived by: her daughters, Deeatra Martin (Otis) and Dessie Hamilton; her pet Pongo; her siblings, George Tackett Jr., Harvey Tackett, Vivian Newsom, Mildred Newsom, Stella Tackett and Arbutis Tackett; her grandchildren, Kyle Hamilton, Dawn Osborne, Shelly Hampton, Austin Martin and Cameron Hamilton; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Trevor, McKenna, Colt, Parker and Luka.
