She was predeceased by: her parents, Tomas Hays and Lura Stubblefield Hays; her husband Ronnie Eugene Thompson; and her brother Thomas Hays. She is survived by: her children, Bryan Thompson, Robert Eugen Thompson and Lisa Cantrell (Kenneth); and her brother Timothy Hays (Debbie).
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home (2931 US-23, Pikeville, KY 41501). A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Annie E. Young Cemetery (4964 Chloe Rd, Pikeville, KY 41501).
