Richard Ray Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2024, at the age of 86, Richard Ray (Pikeville, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ray and Larue Rowe Ray; his stepson Michael Westervelt; and his siblings, Robert Lee Ray and Freddie Larue Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Allen Ray; his children, Lisa Ratliff (Darrell), Richard Ray Jr. (Gina) and Ryan Ray (Kara); and his grandchildren, Cassidy Ray, Tyler Ray, Ramsey Ray, Karson Ray, Corey Ratliff and Keshia Edmonds. He is also survived by two great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home (2931 US-23, Pikeville, KY 41501). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
